My new picture book, Get Real, Lucille, will be coming out July 1, 2025! 
Get Real, Lucille is a picture book about a rubber chicken who tires of being a prop in a circus act, so she runs away to a farm to try and live as a real chicken. The only problem is that she can’t do any of the things a real chicken does, and the other chickens are far from welcoming. When things come to a crisis, Lucille makes a decision that not only determines her future, but also defines who she is. When a pretentious button meets an unassuming acorn, their relationship gets off to a rocky start. However, they soon learn to rely on each other.
