1. What did Acorn want? He wanted to explore and make friends.
2. Where did Acorn live? He lived in the Big Woods.
3. Why was Acorn surprised when he met Button? Acorn had never met anyone who looked like Button before.
4. How did Button end up in the Big Woods? Button bounced out of a basket that was dropped.
5. Why did Button get mad when Acorn asked if a branch was sticking out of his middle? Button thought that Acorn was insulting him.
6. Was Acorn insulting Button? No, Acorn was just curious.
7. Why do you think Acorn helped Button after being chased around the tree? Acorn felt sorry for Button who was stuck and getting upset.
