I had to put my jewelry making on a hiatus as I was busy moving and settling into my new home. However I am gearing up for spring 2023. I'll be making more jewelry and updating the website to show what's new and available. Thank you for your patience!
My Art You Wear Jewelry launched in 2017! I recently discovered alcohol inks and fell in love! Combine that with my love for jewelry and My Art You Wear Jewelry was born.
With some necklaces, I use alcohol inks to do a painting on yupo paper. Then, I put the art into a metal pendant tray and rub it with a micro glaze so that the inks won't smear. Last of all, I protect the work with a clear, ice resin.
With other necklaces, I use copper, bronze, or stainless steel blanks. I apply Fantasy paint to achieve color and design. Then, I protect the art with ice resin and assemble the metal blanks.
These necklaces are unique and fun! They evolve as I evolve.
I am always exploring and trying new things. I have begun to work with charms and shells and beads. I've expanded into bracelets and earrings. I love what I do and I create each piece with great care and attention to detail.
